Prof. Dr. Ercan Baştu graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2002. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine between 2003 and 2008.
From 2010 to 2011, he worked as a research fellow in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, USA.
He became an Associate Professor in 2014 and Professor in 2019. He holds certification in Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) and is a member of several national and international professional societies.
He completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Embryology at the University of Leeds and a Master’s degree in Advanced Gynecological Endoscopy at the University of Surrey.
Since 2021, he has continued patient consultations and evaluations at his private medical practice in Istanbul. Surgical procedures and assisted reproductive treatments are planned within the appropriate hospital setting and in accordance with applicable regulations.
